AUDITIONS - Who Killed Jolly Roger - Murder Mystery Dinner Show

Auditions for the July/August performances of the next Murder Myster Dinner Show for Lost Sheep Theatre. 

Who Killed Jolly Roger is a pirate themed hilarious interaction show from the Slueths Mystery Entertianment team!

Performing in Bunbury, Donnybrook, Busselton and Dunsborough July/Aug in 2024, this promises to be a fantastic fun show.  The last Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner show performed in 2022 by Lost Sheep Theatre sold out 90% of the performances.

Directed by Shelley Stubbs and stage managed by Connie Mills with a Pirate theme, this is one you must be a part of.

Cast:

• Captain Jolly Roger Avery

The Jolly Pirate “King”

Male, 30s and older.

Self proclaimed pirate king. Happy go lucky, always a smile. Jolly, bombastic, and quite

mad. He acts as if he has his crew’s best interests in mind, though he is still a criminal.

Terrible navigator, worse businessman, brilliant con. He has gotten away with conning his

fellow Captains before.

• Quartermaster Ben Grimes

The Detective (Same actor as Jolly Roger)

The law of the land under the Pirate Code. It is his job to find the law breaker and present

the facts to the crew so that they may vote on the punishment.

• Captain Black Jack Malone

The Superstitious Pirate

Male or Female, 30s and older. (If played by a woman, character is female posing as a male.)

Black Jack is a hard living, terribly superstitious pirate. He’s mean and greedy. He was once

an officer of the Royal Navy before he caught the gold bug. Now he’s a wanted man with

something to prove. He goes where the gold takes him.

• Captain Calico Anne Morgan

The Wild Noblewoman

Female, 20s and older.

She’s a free spirit. Beautiful, sarcastic, and ruthless. She was born into nobility and even

when tearing it up in the pub still maintains a sense of class. She was once the hostage of

•  Captain Bonny Bellamy

The Black Widow

Female, Late 20s and older.

Bonny Captain Bonnie is “rough refined.” She fancies herself a fine English Lady. In reality

she’s the hard drinking, pipe smoking, harpy of the high seas. She likes a good joke and

can is quick to anger. She’s tough with a rapier wit. She’s has many traits, class isn’t one of

them.

• Captain Will Handsome

The Ladies Man

Male, 20s and older.

Captain Handsome is Poseidon’s gift to women. He is a “privateer” having been rewarded

a Letter of Marque by the Governor’s wife in return for “Favors.” He is infamous for his

bad pick-up lines. He is bombastic, charming, and charismatic.

Plus some wandering Pirates that are up to mischief. 

There are two Auditions dates available.  You only need to attend one.
